Off-Load Change Over
An off-load changeover switch (also known as an off-load changeover switch or simply changeover switch) is an electrical switch designed to transfer an electrical load from one source or circuit to another without electrical continuity. In other words, it allows you to change the power supply or source without making or breaking the electrical connection under load conditions. Off-load means that the switch is operated when there is no current flowing through it.
Off-load changeover switches are often used in various applications, including electrical distribution, backup power systems, and industrial settings, to ensure a smooth transition between power sources or circuits.
Off-load changeover switches are available in various sizes and configurations to meet specific application requirements. They can be single-pole or multi-pole, and the number of positions on the switch can vary to allow for more complex switching scenarios.
