Fuse Unit / Kit-Kat
A fuse unit, commonly known as a fuse, is a protective device used in electrical circuits to prevent damage to electrical equipment and the circuit itself due to overcurrent conditions. It is designed to break or "blow" when the current passing through it exceeds a certain value, thereby interrupting the electrical circuit. Fuses are a vital component of electrical safety and protection.
Fuses are commonly used in a wide range of electrical systems, from residential household circuits to industrial machinery and power distribution. They are an important component of electrical safety and should be chosen and installed carefully to provide the appropriate level of protection for the circuit and connected equipment. When a fuse blows, it must be replaced with one of the same type and rating to restore the circuit's protection.
